PAO Women's Ministries serve women in the world of sports. Offering support and training to help each woman build an intentional platform to positively impact her family and community.

Women have very unique and challenging roles in the sports community. For most women, their role in sports follows the career of her husband, who is an athlete or coach. There are also women who have carved out a place for themselves as athletes or coaches. Whether the wife of a sports-figure, or one herself, being a woman in the world of sports can be a difficult life full of long hours and little appreciation. But it can also hold enormous opportunity to impact people around her.

There is a great deal involved with being the wife of an athlete or a coach. A woman in the sporting community has her hands full. She will be the subject of constant scrutiny. She will be compared to men in her performance, her team's success, and every aspect of her game. She must stand strong against ridiculous expectations of perfection. Even more than a male athlete or coach, a female athlete or coach is under pressure to conform and allow societal preconceptions to 'invent' her identity in the sports community.

Pro Conferences and Coaches Conferences:

The Pro and Coaches Conferences aren't just for the MEN! These conferences offer a great deal of support to wives of these athletes and coaches, as well as women who are coaches or athletes themselves. Although the pro conferences are targeted toward professional football and baseball players and their spouses, any professional athlete and his or her spouse is welcome. Women attending pro and coaches conferences will find that they are appreciated, celebrated, and encouraged in all aspects of their lives.

Our Women's Getaway:

This getaway is designed by women for women. A relaxing time to bond with others who fully understand the trials of being a woman in the sports world. Speakers, workshops and a time to share will help you grow as a wife, mother, friend and woman of God.
